VNG sustainment units conduct command post exercise at SMR

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Brig. Gen. K. Weedon Gallagher, Virginia National Guard Land Component Commander, visits Virginia National Guard Soldiers conducting a sustainment command post exercise July 16, 2022, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion conducted a five-day mission command training exercise facilitated by the Army National Guard Mission Support Training Program with support from Soldiers assigned the Danville-based 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team as well as the VNG Army and Joint Staffs.
