The Virginia National Guard COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic is fully operational at Fort Pickett, and any service member, TRICARE beneficiary or Department of Defense retiree may schedule an appointment to receive their vaccination. Virginia Department of Military Affairs employees and members of the Virginia Defense Force are also eligible to receive a vaccination at the clinic. How To Schedule a Vaccine:
Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, military and civilian federal technicians and eligible TRICARE beneficiaries should schedule their vaccine at the following link:https://informatics-stage.health.mil/VANGCOVIDApp/COVID.aspx
Dependents (age 18 and up) of all Service Members in an Active Status greater than 30 days and TRICARE Beneficiaries are eligible to receive the vaccine. Verification of TRICARE coverage will be required at the time of appointment for dependents. Proof of coverage can be obtained here:https://tricare.mil/plans/eligibility/DEERS/milconnect/Proof
Virginia Department of Military Affairs employees and currently serving members of the Virginia Defense Force are eligible to receive the vaccine and should contact Rebecca Moses with the Virginia Department of Military Affairs at rebecca.m.moses5.nfg@mail.mil to schedule an appointment at the Virginia National Guard Vaccination Clinic. Department of Defense retirees are eligible to receive the vaccine at the Fort Pickett clinic, and they should call the clinic at 434-298-5887 from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday or email VNGVaccinations@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.
