REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW ANGI 36-101 Chapter 5, AFI 36-2905, DAFI 48-123.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for administration and management of retention programs as outlined in applicable ANGIs and higher headquarters publications and directives. Organizes and executes programs to enlist/appoint and retain quality personnel to satisfy strength requirements of the wing and state. Will develop an annual unit retention plan to include goals, objectives and retention activities. Supervise and train members who are directly involved with retention programs. Ensures members are interviewed/counseled and current information is disseminated concerning benefits and entitlements, aiding unit commanders in force management goals and guiding members in achieving career goals, as appropriate. Ensure retention goals are met as determined by state leadership. Develop Unit Programs to include Retention events, briefings, internal recruiting, UCA Training. Administer Retention Programs to include CMP, UCA, MGIB and ANG Incentive Programs. Manage office administration and serve as POC for all wing retention activities. Communicate retention goals at all levels throughout the military structure. Inform R&R SEL and R&R OIC on retention and personnel force management issues and concerns and route all issues requiring NGB involvement through the R&R SEL or OIC. Military supervision of the ROM will be with the State Recruiting and Retention Senior Enlisted Leader.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
1. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Recruiter and 1 year experience as an Advanced Recruiter.
2. Must have demonstrated the capability of maintaining recruiting production standards
3. Completion of ANG Retention Management Course within one year of assignment is mandatory.
4. Except for mobilization or other emergency, member accepted for tour will not be subject to permanent change of duty location without his/her consent. Retention in the program will be subject to continued satisfactory performance as determined by the supervisor and/or commander.

Standards. They must also be current in all Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) requirements to include immunizations. RCPHA/PHA and dental must be conducted not more than 12 months prior to entry on AGR duty prior to the start date of the AGR tour. 6. IAW ANGI 36-101, para 5.5. AGR Airmen are subject to the provisions of DAFI 36-2905, Fitness Program. Airmen must meet the minimum requirements for each fitness component in addition to scoring an overall composite of 75 or higher for entry into the AGR program. For members with a documented DLC which prohibits them from performing one or more components of the Fitness Assessment, an overall "Pass" rating is required.
7. Existing ANG promotion policies apply and grade ceilings established by ANGI 36-101.
8. At the option of supervisor/nominating official, applicants are subject to personal interview upon notification of time and place. Necessary travel is at applicant’s expense.
9. Airmen who voluntarily resigned from the AGR Program in lieu of adverse personnel actions, or who have been involuntarily separated from the AGR Program are not eligible to reenter the program.
10. All notifications of selection are conditional until verification of security clearance, medical clearance and HRO approval.
11. Retention in the program will be subject to continued satisfactory performance as determined by the supervisor and/or commander.
12. Must maintain outstanding appearance, military bearing and high standards of conduct IAW AFI 36-2903 and AFI 36-2905 standards.

14. No history of emotional instability, personality disorder, or other unresolved mental health problems.
15. Must possess a valid state/territory driver's license to operate government motor vehicles.
16. No record of disciplinary action (Letter of Reprimand [LOR] or Article 15) for committing acts of malpractice or misconduct or engaging in an unprofessional or inappropriate relationship as defined in AFI 36-2909, or documented failures (LOR or Article 15) to exercise sound leadership principles with respect to morale or welfare of subordinates.
17. Member will need to be medically cleared before starting in the position.
