Equal Employment Opportunity
Mission Statement
The Virginia National Guard Equal Employment Office (EEO) serves as the advisor to the Adjutant General of Virginia. The EEO Office supports the three pillars in the agencies strategic plan, by ensuring all employees are afforded an opportunity to work in an environment free from discrimination based on: race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity), genetic information, national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information and reprisal.
As our agency continues to strive in becoming a model employer, we empower our diverse workforce to be ready and responsive by meeting and exceeding the needs of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
