Col. John M. Epperly, Deputy Commanding General, Maneuver, of the Virginia National Guard’s 29th Infantry Division, is promoted to brigadier general March 5, 2016, at the Fort Belvoir Officers’ Club, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Willliams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, presided over the promotion ceremony.
