Teachers from across Virginia participate in the Virginia Army National Guard’s inaugural Civic Leader Appreciation Day July 17, 2024, at the Blackstone Army Airfield near Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The event kicked off with a welcome from Brig. Gen. Todd Hubbard, the VNG Director of the Joint Staff, and included flights on board UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, as well as an opportunity for educators and civic leaders to learn more about the National Guard.
