Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers from across the commonwealth conduct a 12-mile ruck march during the VaARNG 2025 Best Warrior Competition March 15, 2025, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The event was the last physical challenge of the competition, leaving only appearance boards before winners are decided. Six competitors are vying for the titles of VaARNG Soldier and NCO of the Year during the four-day competition, and the right to represent Virginia at the Region II BWC later in 2025.
