VNG SARC hosts victim advocate refresher training

Virginia Beach, Virginia - Jonathan Goldwire, the Director of Psychological Health for the Virginia Army National Guard, addresses attendees of a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate refresher training course Aug. 12, 2020, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. More than two dozen Airmen, Soldiers and civilians from the Virginia, West Virginia and Delaware National Guard participated in the 32-hour training, which was hosted by the Virginia National Guard Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator office and focuses on victim advocacy, prevention and ethics and featured guest speakers from local, state and national agencies.
