Fort Pickett, Va. - Virginia National Guard Soldiers and civilian employees of Maneuver Training Center Fort Pickett plant two trees at the MTC garrison headquarters in honor of Earth Day April 22, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. With the guidance of employees from the Fort Pickett forestry program, the MTC staff planted two serviceberry trees on either side of the headquarters sign. In addition to beautification, the trees will produce berries beneficial to wildlife in the area.
