Partnerships with TCC, ABC offer ChalleNGe cadets new options upon graduation

Virginia Beach, Virginia - Cadets in Class 51 of the Virginia National Guard Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy attend a Small Business Management class offered through Tidewater Community College July 18, 2019, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The class is one of two offered to cadets who obtain their GED certificate early in the program. Commonwealth ChalleNGe is the Virginia component of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program, a 17-and-a-half-month program designed to promote academics, attention to detail, time management, and leadership, while promoting self-esteem, confidence and pride.
