Winchester, Virginia - The Honorable John O. Marsh Jr., former Secretary of the Army and former Congressman from Virginia, shakes hands with a Soldier from Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Brigade Combat Team during the unit's Freedom Salute in Winchester Aug. 17 while the Honorable John Marshall, Virginia Secretary for Public Safety, looks on. Marsh served in the Virginia National Guard from 1951 to 1976 and was Secretary of the Army from 1981 to 1989.
