WOCs team up with Hanover Habitat for Humanity for outreach project

Hanover, Virginia - Brigadier General Walter L. Mercer, Assistant Adjutant General, Virginia Army National Guard visited eight Warrant Officer Candidates (WOC) assigned to Class 18-001, Warrant Officer Candidate School, at the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute at Fort Pickett, as they teamed up with the Hanover Habitat for Humanity staff, Feb. 24, to complete their community project. Each WOC Class plans and executes a community project to graduate to the final phase of their training. Class 18-001, after months of coordination, arrived on the Hanover Habitat for Humanity jobsite and helped Joanna Gerbino and her crew get some work done on a local Mechanicsville Habitat home.
