116th IBCT HQ completes CTE, begins next phase of KFOR mission

FORT BLISS, Tex. - Virginia and Kentucky National Guard Soldiers mobilized as Task Force Saint Lo under the command of the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team recently completed the weeklong Leader’s Regional Advise, Assist Course near Fort Bliss, Texas, as part of the unit’s preparation for their upcoming deployment to Kosovo. The course is designed to train Soldiers on cross cultural communication, rapport building, the use of an interpreter and other topics that will enhance their skill sets while working with NATO partners in Kosovo.
