576th Engineer Utilities Detachment prepares for overseas mission

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 576th Engineer Utilities Detachment, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group train on their engineer skills during two-week premobilization annual training Feb. 8, 2022, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 576th provides facilities engineering support in the areas of carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing and road maintenance and repair. The unit, which was stood up in 2017, is preparing for its first overseas mobilization, to the Central Command area of operations, later this spring. (U.S. National Guard photo by A.J. Coyne)
