FORT PICKETT, Va. - Staff assigned to the Maneuver Training Center Fort Pickett Range Operations and the Directorate of Public Works rededicate the Joy Nature Trail as part of the installation’s Earth Day celebration April 22, 2022, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The dedication comes after recent clearing and improvements to the trail, including new signage. During the event, the gathered group spread wildflower seeds to a clearing near the trail’s finishing point. Other MTC Earth Day activities included building raised “victory gardens” and planting them with various vegetables, and a beautification project outside of the MTC Training Support Center.
