VNG maintenance, engineer units supporting XCTC rotation at Fort Drum

FORT PICKETT, Va. - Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Emporia-based 1710th Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support group help load vehicles and equipment onto flatbed trucks for the Blackstone-based 3647th Maintenance Company, 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 329th RSG July 9, 2022, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The 1710th helped load and transport the equipment north as the 3647th prepares for an eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation at Fort Drum, New York, in support of the New Jersey National Guard’s 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. VNG Soldiers assigned to the Cedar Bluff-based 1033rd Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th RSG are also supporting the 44th IBCT at XCTC.
