CAMP BONDSTEEL, Kosovo - U.S. Army Col. Jim Tierney, the Task Force Red Dragon commander, places the 29th Infantry Division combat patch, officially known as the “shoulder sleeve insignia for former wartime service,” onto the arm of Spc. Mackenly Riddle, a combat medic assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, Virginia Army National Guard, during a patching ceremony on Camp Lemonnier, Africa, Feb. 15, 2022.
