529th CSSB honored at Norfolk Tides opening day

Norfolk, Virginia - The Virginia National Guard's Virginia Beach-based 529th Combat Sutainment Support Battalion was honored at the Norfolk Tides home opener April 17, 2011. A color guard from the 529th presented the flags for the national anthem, executive officer Maj. Matthew Lutz threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and photos from the unit's recent overseas deployment were shown on the scoreboard during the seventh inning stretch.
