FORT BARFOOT, Va. - Contractors use a crane to hoist empty rail tank cars and place them on flat-bed trucks for transport to the Petroleum Operations Sustainment Tactical Training area in support of the Fort Gregg-Adams-based 94th Training Division Aug. 22, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The rail tank cars will enhance and expand 92F Petroleum Supply Specialist training on Fort Barfoot and mitigate training gaps identified by the Army. Moving the cars safely from the rail head in Fort Barfoot’s cantonment area several miles to the petroleum training area took a combined effort from contractors, 94th TD, FORSCOM and Fort Barfoot’s Directorate of Public Works. Read more about Fort Barfoot at https://ngpa.us/25024.
