FORT BARFOOT, Va. - Virginia National Guard and Fort Barfoot leaders officially break ground on a new Ammunition Supply Point administration building during a ceremony February. 18, 2025, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The new facility, once complete, will offer an upgraded, modernized facility with more operating space than the current facility, which was built in 1976. The Fort Barfoot ASP is one of the busiest on the East Coast, managing millions of dollars’ worth of ammunition across more than 20 magazines. The new facility is expected to be completed by early 2026.
