VNG gearing up for Milton, winding down Helene support

DAMASCUS, Va. - Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Cedar Bluff-based 1033rd Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group continue a water main pipeline damage assessment mission Oct. 7, 2024, in Damascus, Virginia. The Soldiers used GPS and tablets to document damage or exposed sections of a 12-inch water main pipeline that runs from the Town of Damascus to Taylors Valley in Washington County. The support from the Soldiers helps with the restoration of more than six miles of water main pipeline that provides water to the town. Read more at https://vngpao.info/mr2x6d7n.
