1. This traditional officer vacancy is the position of HHD Company Commander.
a. Projected fill date: On or about 01 April 2025.
b. Unit where vacancy exists: Headquarters, 183D Regional Training Institute (RTI), Bldg. 2100, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA 23824.
c. Female assignment eligibility: YES.
d. Position MOS: 01A
e. Grade/Rank: O3/CPT.
f. Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Applicants must be a current member of the Virginia Army National Guard.
(2) Officer must hold the rank of O3/CPT, or promotable O2/1LT.
(3) At minimum, must be enrolled in the Captains Career Course. Preferred officer will be CCC complete.
(4) Technicians, Traditional, and AGR officers are eligible to apply. Officers on T10 tours are not eligible to apply.
(5) Must have a minimum Secret Clearance.
(6) Candidate must not be on any permanent profile that limits duty for combat operations. Candidate must be deployable at time of selection.

g. DA 1059 of highest military education completed.
h. Verification memo of Security Clearance from State Security Manager or Unit Security Manager.
