WHO MAY APPLY: Open to all AGR/Military Technician/Traditional/ Active Duty of
any Armed Forces in grade of E5/SGT-E6/SSG who are members of the Virginia Army
National Guard or eligible to become members at that grade.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service before age 60.

application. Soldier selected for this position who do not meet the above mentioned ACFT
and Height & Weight requirement will need to complete an ACFT and Height & Weight prior
to receiving a start date.
• Applicant must possess or be able to possess a secret clearance and maintain
government travel card.

• Information Technology NCO (25B) must possess the following qualifications:
(1) A physical profile of 212221.
(2) Normal color vision.
(3) Qualifying Scores.
(a) A minimum score of 100 in aptitude area ST in Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) tests administered prior to 02 January 2002.
(b) A minimum score of 96 in aptitude area ST on ASVAB tests administered on and after 02 January 2002 and prior to 01 July 2004
(c) A minimum score of 95 in aptitude area ST on ASVAB test administered on and after 01 July 2004.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW AR 40-501, AR 135-18, AR 600-8-2, AR 600-60, NGR 600-5, NGR 600-200, and NGR 601-1

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the deployment, installation, operation, and unit level maintenance of multi-functional/multi–user information and computer processing systems; analyzes and interprets telecommunications and information management needs. Will support and manage unit functions by setting up audio and visual equipment and other information systems. Responsible for overseeing set-up of new computer accounts, internet, and phone lines. Responsible for coordinating repair for all communication devices, printers, copiers, and faxes. Will advise commanders and staff regarding changes in automation procedures and training. Will perform other duties as assigned.
