WHO MAY APPLY: Open to all AGR/Military Technician/Traditional/ Active Duty of
any Armed Forces in grade of E6/SSG-E7/SFC who are members of the Virginia Army
National Guard or eligible to become members at that grade.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
• Required to perform non-rated crew member duties as a UH-60 Crew Chief on the aircraft and
all other duties assigned.
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service before age 60.

• Must have a passing ACFT and Height & Weight within 6 months of the submission of your
application. Soldier selected for this position who do not meet the above mentioned ACFT
and Height & Weight requirement will need to complete an ACFT and Height & Weight prior
to receiving a start date.
• Applicant must possess or be able to possess a secret clearance and maintain
government travel card.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW AR 40-501,
AR 135-18, AR 600-8-2, AR 600-60, NGR 600-5, NGR 600-200, and NGR 601-1

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily unit administration, readiness, reports, and resources training; is an advisor to the command, and oversees and ensures the commander's programs and concepts of operations are executed appropriately; submits payroll, manages the unit management report, prepares drill letters, creates training schedules, inputs orders, manages travel authorizations, and vouchers; advises, teaches and instills crew resource management procedures to all Soldiers; performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, including removing and installing aircraft subsystems like engines, rotors, and transmissions, while adhering to technical manuals and safety procedures.

If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

3. Current Validated copy of Officer Record Brief (ORB).
4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record accessible through MODS, dated within the last 12 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS APFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS HT/WT
history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if applicable). IPPS-A screen shots of APFT and HT/WT information are authorized.
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms 23A/23B.
7.Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration (i.e., Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
