Forces Officers in grades E6/SSG- E7/SFC who are members of the Virginia Army
National Guard.

SPECIAL INFORMATION

❖ Must have the Strength Maintenance Expert Badge.
❖ Must have completed Suitability screening.
❖ Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of active federal services before
their MRD or Age 60.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1,
NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide quality control checks on applicant accession packets submitted by RRNCO using RZ/USMIRS. Verify that all ARNG applicants meet the eligibility requirements for enlistment in the ARNG and MOS. Provide RRB leadership with information and updates regarding changes to processing procedures, training seat availability, and qualification standards.
Assist the State Operations NCO on submitted medical waivers through MATS. Update MEPS Calendar via Emails Received and Projections seen in RZ/MIRS. Prepare and Turn in 48 Hour Projections to include Lodging and Meals. Turn in All current Prescreen/MEDREAD, Files Room Request, and Waivers into Files Room. Coordinates with the RSP Training Seat Management Specialist to maximize training seat utilization. Must be a current 79T. Must become V7 qualified and operate as a MEPS GC within 12 months of hiring date.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.
