Forces Officers in grades E5/SGT- E6/SSG who are members of the Virginia Army
National Guard.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
❖ Soldiers must be able to pass Suitability Screening.
❖ PULHES must be at least 132221.
❖ Must have a minimum score of 110 in the aptitude area general technician (GT)
preferred (Waivable with GT score of 100 or combination of 95 with an ST score of
95).
❖ Must complete the ARNG Non-Career Recruiting NCO course within 18 months of
start date.
❖ Tattoos must be in compliance with AR 670-1.
❖ Must not possess obviously distracting physical characteristics or mannerisms to
include a shaving profile (waiver not authorized).
❖ This is a 3-year stabilized tour, may apply to become a Production Recruiter at the
conclusion of this tour.
❖ Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of active federal services before
their MRD or Age 60.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1, NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the RSP NCO responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of RSP drill weekends in accordance with ARNG-HRR training guidance. Oversees Warrior transition from enlistment through Battle Hand Off, ensuring training readiness, compliance, and accountability. Manages RSP schedules and ensures timely submission through DTMS (draft NLT 120 days, final NLT 90 days). Maintains and audits Warrior RSP training files; verifies Warrior eligibility to ship, including physical administrative, and mental readiness. Tracks and inputs OPAT results, manages RSP AARs, and resolves administrative issues. Ensures proper transfer of updated training records and facilitates risk assessments for at-risk shippers. Coordinates with RRNCOs, MEPS, and unit leadership to ensure Warriors are prepared to ship within 90 days an all welcome packets and documentation are complete. Manages Warrior records in IPPS-A and VULCAN; ensures accuracy of pay, benefits, and personnel transactions. Supervises meals, lodging, and logistical support for RSP drills. Mentors Warriors throughout the training pipeline; identifies and removes barriers to success. Promotes educational opportunities and monitors Tuition Assistance utilization. Additional duties as assigned.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.
