WHO MAY APPLY: Open to all AGR/Military Technician/Traditional Soldiers in grades W1/WO1 through W3/CW3 who are members of the Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) OR eligible to become members of the VAARNG.

• Must have a passing ACFT/AFT and Height & Weight within 6 months of the submission of your application. Soldier selected for this position who do not meet the above mentioned ACFT/AFT and Height & Weight requirement will need to complete an ACFT and Height & Weight prior to receiving a start date.
• Individuals must not be under Suspension of Favorable Personnel Actions (Flag).
• Must not be within six (6) months of mandatory removal or Expiration Term of Service (ETS).
• Warrant Officers not currently AGR and not qualified, may apply for this position. However, if selected and not qualified, the Warrant Officer will not be appointed until they are MOS qualified as a 920A.
• Soldiers in possession of a WOCS certificate of eligibility and/or an approved predetermination packet may apply

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW AR 40-501, AR 135-18, AR 600-8-2, AR 600-60, NGR 600-5, NGR 600-200, and NGR 601-1.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the senior Property Accounting Technician in mid-level management positions; generally at the brigade/group/regiment level; positions requiring a level of independence from supervision. Additionally, may serve as the Assistant Division Property Book Officer, or as the senior technician in the Reports Branch of DISCOM. Additionally, will serve in a junior position in organizations where other senior Property Accounting Technician(s) are assigned. Supervises the technical aspects of unit property book records per AR 710-2. Performs in both manual and automated property book accounting environments with the related functions associated with accurate property accountability. Monitors and performs evaluations of subordinate supply operations per Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and AR 710-2. Conducts financial inventory accounting as applied to the Army's budgeting system. Complies with appropriate regulations, forms, and procedures pertaining to property books, hand receipts and other property accounting documents. Perform other duties as assigned.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record accessible through MODS, dated within the last 6 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS ACFT/AFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS HT/WT history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if applicable).
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms 23A/23B.
7. Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration (i.e., Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
