or eligible for Expert Badge upon start date of position.

their MRD or Age 60.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1,
NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The RR Operations NCO performs a myriad of duties and has varied responsibilities at the RR
State headquarters level. Authorized responsibilities of the RR Operations NCO may include but
are not limited to: Collect, review and monitor SM reports to identify strengths and weaknesses
in the State SM Plan and make recommendations as appropriate. Develop a comprehensive
RRC training program that addresses pre and post MOS training for RRNCOs, RRC
sustainment/refresher training for all RRC positions, ADOS recruiter assistant training, CTT,
ACFT/AFT, weapons qualification, and other areas as needed or directed. Monitor and evaluate
RRC training requirements and develop, conduct or coordinate individual, team, and region
RRNCO motivational training targeted at improving attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Monitor and
evaluate training requirements for the RRC to include MOSQ requirements as well as NCOES,
using ATRRS. Coordinate any RRNCO training requirements with the RRSCs. Assist the RRC
by obtaining applicant information and documents required by RRNCOs. Complete quality
control activities on prior service enlistment packets. Complete and submit various requests for
orders, military awards, personnel actions, and other correspondence as required. Will initiate
all NGB level waivers workflows to the National Guard Bureau through the use of Guidance
Counselor Resource Center (GCRC) after receipt from RRNCO and verify all documents are
present. Utilizes Recruit Quota System (REQUEST) and AUVS, assists in managing ARNG
Units Vacancies to support Commander, MEPS GC, RCT, and recruiting personnel. Ensure that
vacancy data is validated and prepared for load into REQUEST. Monitors and evaluates unit
strength throughout the State to determine strengths, weaknesses and trends and provide
recommendations for filling critical units.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must
be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the
position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an
interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier
cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for
the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance
per DOD 5200.2R.

1. Completed NGB Form 34-1 (signed and dated).
2. Copies of last five consecutive NCOERs and all DA Form 1059s.
3. Current Certified or Validated copy of Enlisted Record Brief (ERB).
4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record
accessible through MODS, dated within the last 6 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS ACFT/AFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS
HT/WT history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if
applicable).
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement.
Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms
23A/23B.
7. Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration
(i.e., Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
