REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1,
NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for assisting in planning, coordination, and execution of all training and operations within the RRBN. Supports the development of the battalion’s training guidance, OPORDs, and taskings. Provides direct oversight and management of RSP operations to ensure newly enlisted Soldiers are mentally, administratively, and physically prepared for successful completion of Initial Entry Training (IET). Assists the S3 in developing and maintaining long- and short-range training plans, calendars, and operations orders in support of the RRBN’s recruiting mission. Serves as the RSP Commander; ensures compliance with all RSP directives, policies, and training requirements outlined in NGR 601-1 and current national RSP guidance. Ensures RSP Soldiers are properly managed in DTMS, ATTRS, and all other applicable systems; monitors readiness and IET shipper status. Oversees execution of RSP drill weekends, including training schedules, facility coordination, risk assessments, and instructor resourcing. Provides training support to Company RSP NCOICs and facilitates command and control of RSP drill events statewide, as required. Coordinates with the RRBN S1, S4, and Operations NCOs to support the operational needs of the battalion. Monitors training metrics and readiness reporting, including DTMS input, ACFT/AFT compliance, and height/weight reporting for all assigned RSP Soldiers. Provides input to the development of command briefings and operational reports. Ensures all RSP activities support and align with the RRBN commander’s vision, priorities, and accessions goals.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record accessible through MODS, dated within the last 6 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS ACFT/AFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS HT/WT history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if applicable).
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms 23A/23B.
7. Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration (i.e., Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
