SPECIAL INFORMATION
• Soldiers must attend the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC) within 12 months of assignment.

• Applicants MUST be qualified in the 88 Series CMF and have served in a leadership position.
• Applicants in the rank of SFC MUST be on the 2025 MSG EPS list.
• Applicants must possess or be able to possess and maintain a government travel card.
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service before their MRD.

• Current AGR and long term ADOS Soldiers must have a passing ACFT/AFT and Height & Weight within 6 months of your application.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1, NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Chief Instructor for a TRADOC accredited training institution. Provides professional development of Instructors and students: responsible for the command, control, and supervision of students attending functional and 88-Series Career Management Field (CMF) Courses. Implements the battalion training schedule; ensures logistical, administrative, and operational support is coordinated prior to the execution of training. Coordinates and executes training and testing IAW course Program of Instruction (POI) and the Course Management Plan (CMP). Continuously evaluates course effectiveness and evaluation data in support of the Total Army Schools System and the Army Learning Model (ALM). Advises the Commander on training, logistics, personnel, and unit readiness requirements; acts as the commander's day to day representative and spokesman in the daily operations of the unit. Performs instructor duties as necessary.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

5. Last 3 years of ACFT/AFT and HT/WT Individual Training Record from DTMS is preferred. DA 705 and DA 5500/5501 are accepted. Include DA3349 if applicable.
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Examples include DD 214, DA 1506, NGB 23 (RPAM)
7. Additional Documents: Letters of recommendation, Awards, Certificates of training, Degrees, etc.
