WHO MAY APPLY: Open to all AGR/Military Technician/Traditional personnel in the grades of E6/SSG through E7/SFC who are members of the Virginia Army National Guard.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
Senior sergeant must possess the following qualifications:
(1)Physical demands rating--Heavy.
(2)A physical profile of 222222.
(3)Color discrimination of red/green.
(4)Minimum score in aptitude area--N/A.
• Soldier MUST be a qualified 88-Series CMF and have served in a leadershipposition
• Soldiers must attend the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC) within 12 months of assignment.
• Applicants must possess or be able to possess and maintain a government travelcard.
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service beforetheir MRD.

• Current AGR and long term ADOS Soldiers must have a passing ACFT/AFT andHeight & Weight within 6 months of your application.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1, NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the course manager for 88M MOS-Transition course. Ensures course administration and student training is performed to TRADOC standards. Conducts annual course reviews and triennial course evaluations. Coordinates and executes training and testing IAW course Program of Instruction (POI) and the Course Management Plan (CMP). Continuously evaluates course effectiveness and evaluation data in support of the Total Army Schools System and the Army Learning Model (ALM). Responsible for coaching/mentoring new faculty and facilitating instructor certification. Ensures faculty are trained, knowledgeable, and effective at integrating OE and lessons learned into student training. Oversees and maintains visitor binder. Responsible for EOCCs/AARs. Advises the Commander on training, logistics, personnel, and unit readiness requirements. Performs instructor duties.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

6.Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement.Examples include DD 214, DA 1506, NGB 23 (RPAM)
7.Additional Documents: Letters of recommendation, Awards, Certificates of training,Degrees, etc.
