WHO MAY APPLY: Open to all AGR/Military Technician/Traditional/ Active Duty Enlisted personnel in grades E4/SPC – E5/SGT who are members of the Virginia Army National Guard or able to become members of Virginia Army National Guard.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service before their MRD.

• Must have a passing ACFT/AFT and Height & Weight within 6 months of the submission ofyour application. Soldier selected for this position who do not meet the above mentioned
ACFT/AFT and Height & Weight requirement will need to complete an ACFT/AFT and Height& Weight prior to receiving a start date.
• Applicant must possess or be able to possess a secret clearance and maintain governmenttravel card.
• The start date is contingent on availability of funding from NGB.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1, NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of this position is to maintain responsibility of the Training NCO and administrative functions for the unit. Responsible for accomplishing the commander's plans and programs to attain the unit's training and mobilization readiness objectives. Manages administrative duties for all personnel in the unit in DTMS. Manages unit manning, accountability, promotions and personnel and medical readiness for the unit in coordination with the Readiness NCO. Maintains responsibility for the assigned organic and installation property. Responsible for DTS, ATRRS, and IPPS-A transactions. Prepare material for advising the unit commander on unit mobilization posture and requirements. Maintains the unit mobilization plan.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Position requires a “SECRET” security clearance. Must be able to obtain as a minimum, an “interim” clearance prior to appointment to the position. Soldiers with a prior revoked or denied clearance are not eligible for either an interim or a waiver and should not apply. If tentatively selected for a position and soldier cannot be granted an interim clearance prior to appointment to the position, the offer for the position maybe revoked, Non-USA citizens are not eligible for a security clearance per DOD 5200.2R.

2. Copies of last five consecutive Evaluation Reports and all DA Form 1059s.Personnel that do not have five evaluations must submit a letter of recommendation form the first Officer in their chain of command.
3. Current Validated copy of the Record Brief or IPPSA Soldier Talent Profile.
4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record accessible through MODS, dated within the last 12 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS ACFT/AFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS HT/WT
history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if applicable). IPPS-A screen shots of ACFT/AFT and HT/WT information are authorized.
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms 23A/23B.
7. Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration (i.e.,Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
