Fort Pickett MPRC back open for business
A Tennessee National Guard Bradley fighting vehicle sends rounds downrange during a re-opening ceremony for the Multi-Purpose Range Complex Nov. 6, 2020, at Maneuver Training Center Fort Pickett, Virginia. Brig. Gen. K. Weedon Gallagher, Virginia National Guard Land Component Commander, provided remarks during the ceremony. The range recently received a $1.8 million upgrade and renovation, including new targets and and after-action review system. The 832-acre range includes 106 targets, 16 defensive battle positions and four maneuver lanes, and allows units to train on crew and platoon-level gunnery.
