Virginia Army National Guard Spc. Toraj Rozbeh, who was born and raised in Afghanistan before immigrating to the United States, is deployed to Kuwait with the 29th Infantry Division. He is serving as an interpreter and cultural adviser for the Task Force Freedom command team during Operation Allies Refuge.
U.S. Army Spc. Toraj Rozbeh, deployed to Kuwait with the Virginia Army National Guard’s 29th Infantry Division, is an Afghan American serving as an interpreter and cultural adviser for the Task Force Freedom command team during Operation Allies Welcome. Rozbeh was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, but immigrated with his family to the United States via the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) process in 2015, and enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2017.
