Pak shares lessons in leadership for DMA mentoring program

FORT PICKETT, Va. - Jason Pak, the Virginia Deputy Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, speaks to participants in the Virginia Department of Military Affairs Workforce Development Mentoring Program Oct. 20, 2022, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Pak, a former Army officer, shared his military and corporate experiences and offered lessons in leadership and relationship building. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, and retired Brig. Gen. Walt Mercer, the DMA Chief Operations Officer, also spoke at the event. This is the third iteration of the DMA mentoring program, which matches up employees with leaders to exchange knowledge, experience and career guidance.
