529th CSSB validated, ready for mission in Poland

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas - Virginia Army National Guard senior leaders visit Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion as they conduct a collective training exercise Feb. 14, 2024, at Fort Cavazos, Texas, to prepare for their upcoming federal active duty deployment to Poland. Brig. Gen. Charles B. Martin Jr. and Command Sgt. Maj. Irving Reed Jr., the VaARNG command team, Col. Paul C. Gravely, the VaARNG chief of staff, and Chief Warrant Officer 5 John Calley, the VaARNG state command chief warrant officer, met with Soldiers to learn more about their roles in the upcoming mission and thank them for their service.
