WHO MAY APPLY: AGR/Military Technician/Traditional/ Active Duty of any Armed Forces Officers in grades E4/SPC- E5/SGT who are members of the Virginia Army National Guard.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
• Applicants must be eligible to complete 20 years of Active Federal Service before their MRD or Age 60.
• Soldier must be MOS Qualified 68W or eligible to attend MOS-T course within 1 year of hire. If selected, E4 is not be eligible to promote until MOS-Q is complete.
• ASVAB Scores Requirement for 68W: ST: 101, Non waivable. No permanent or temporary profiles. MOS-Q course is physically and mentally strenuous and specifically requires a“non-aversion to blood.”
• 68W MOS requires annual sustainment training to maintain MOS; failure to maintain 68Wwill result in removal from AGR Program

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all selection criteria IAW NGR 601-1, NGR 600-200, NGR 600-5, AR 600-60, AR 40-501, AR 600-8-2 and AR 135-18.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages administrative actions for C Co 429th to include management of IPPSA, DPRO, IPERMS, et al. Assists unit 1SG with promotion packets and evaluation tracking. Initiates Soldier requests and tracks them through approval process. Initiates and reviews IPPS-A transactions such as orders for transfers within your MSC, DPOS, & awarding military occupational specialty through IPPS-A. You will be reviewing and processing awards IAW AR 600-8-22. Processing personnel and administrative documents in the Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS); which may require you to initiate an action in IPPS-A. In some cases you would be required to develop and draft unit training schedules and input data into Digital Training Management Systems (DTMS) for approval IAW with command guidance and directives. Prepare reports for the units using IPPS-A.

2. Copies of last five consecutive NCOERs and all DA Form 1059s. Enlisted personnel that do not have five NCOERs must submit a letter of recommendation form the first O3 in their chain of command.
3. Current Certified or Validated copy of Enlisted Record Brief (ERB).
4. Current Medical Protection System Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) Record accessible through MODS, dated within the
last 12 months to be valid.
5. Last 3 years of DTMS APFT history or DA Form 705 cards and DTMS HT/WT
history printout or DA Form 5500/5501 (include all DA Forms 3349 if applicable). IPPS-A screen shots of APFT and HT/WT information are authorized.
6. Documentation to support all periods of duty/service creditable for retirement. Any of the following may be used DD Form 214, DA Form 1506 or NGB Forms 23A/23B.
7. Any additional information the applicant may wish to submit for consideration (i.e., Letters of Recommendation, awards, certificates, degrees, etc.).
