RICHMOND, Va. –
The Virginia National Guard Youth Program is back with "Camp On The Move!" this summer, a series of single day, camp-style events at different 4-H Center locations across the state. The camps, which will take place in Front Royal, Appomattox and Williamsburg, will offer National Guard Youth the opportunity to build resiliency and connect with their peers while engaging in activities such as canoeing, high rope and low rope courses, archery and so much more.
“Camp on the Move was such a big success, and we can’t wait to bring them back for Summer of 2022," said Cierra Hall, lead child and youth program coordinator for the Virginia National Guard. "Youth build connections with each other, while having a blast participating in fun activities throughout the day. We hope to see many smiling faces come out to join us this year!”
The camps are open to all National Guard Youth between the ages of 7-17.
