RICHMOND, Va. –
Senior logistical officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army meet with Virginia National Guard logisticians Aug. 18, 2016, at Defense Supply Center Richmond in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The visit was part of a multi-day tour of the Sustainment Center of Excellence at Fort Lee and provided an opportunity for leaders to build relationships and share information between JAF and U.S. forces, enhance interoperability between forces and increase warfighting function effectiveness.
The Virginia United States Property and Fiscal Office Logistics Division operates at DSCR and Fort Pickett to provide installation-level logistical support and services for all classes of supply to units and activities in the Virginia National Guard. The Central Issue Facility, Property Management Branch, Material Management Branch and Storage & Distribution Branch operate at DSCR, and the Ammunition Supply Point, Installation Transportation Branch and Budget Office operate at Fort Pickett.
